My wife declares night vigil whenever I ask for sex – Man cries out in court

A man, Kolade Atanda, has told an Oja Oba/Mapo Customary Court, Mapo, Ibadan, Oyo State that his wife, Dupe Atanda always declares night vigil whenever he demands for sex. He said she also told him that their kids were not his. The frustrated man, who approached the court seeking divorce, narrated his ordeal before the President of the court, Ademola Odunade. Kolade told the court, “My wife denied me of two things which are important to me. These are sex and access to my two children. “Her mother indirectly runs our home because she takes orders from her, but flouts every instruction I give her. “As a result of this I feel inadequate as a man. “I can’t tolerate this anymore. President Muhammadu Buhari, who assumed office on May 29, 2015, had earlier embarked on a six-day vacation in the United Kingdom between February 5 and 10, 2016. On June 6, 2016, he embarked on another 10-day vacation to attend to what the Presidency described as “persistent ear infection.” It had said although Buhari was examined and treated by his personal physician and a specialist in Abuja, the doctors advised him to go for further evaluation as a precaution. Nasarawa State Deputy Governor ,Silas Agara says the state has never received any ecological fund from the federal government since it was created, adding that the devastating effects of flood which has claimed lives and property is threatening the existence of the people. He said that the state government had committed huge funds and ever willing to do more in tackling the impact of the torrential rains that cause flooding in the state but noted that it has limited resources. Agara said the state government was concerned with the agony of its people and had constructed drainages, culverts and canal, to ameliorate the sufferings of the people. A fresh crisis may be brewing in the Edo State House of Assembly as the impeached Deputy Speaker, Mrs. Elizabeth Ativie, has held on to the cars, which the House directed her to return to new principal officers, claiming that the cars were given to her as gifts by a former governor, Adams Oshiomhole. The member representing Igueben constituency, Dr. Justin Okonoboh, and Ativie were on Monday impeached by 19 out of the 24 members of the House. Alhaji Shettima Yerima, leader, of the Coalition of Northern Group (CNG), has claimed that the October 1 quit notice issued by Arewa youths to Igbos residing in the north had the backing of prominent leaders of the region. He made this disclosure in Lafia, during the zonal meeting of the Coalition in Nasarawa. The Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), yesterday, setup a disciplinary committee that would look into alleged infractions by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Dan Nwanyanwu and Mainasara Illo. The decision was taken during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja. The NEC had also passed a vote of confidence on the Malam Mohammed Shitu- led National Working Committee (NWC) of the party. Dokpesi had last week held a parallel NEC meeting in Abuja, where Illo purportedly emerged as new national chairman of the party while Nwanyanwu emerged as the BoT chairman. Malam Shitu, who read the communiqué after the NEC’s meeting, said the disciplinary committee was to be headed by Barrister Mohammed Sani Takori, a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Zamfara State.
