Dokpesi, others to face APDA’s disciplinary c’ttee

The Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), yesterday, setup a disciplinary committee that would look into alleged infractions by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, Dan Nwanyanwu and Mainasara Illo.

The decision was taken during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja.

The NEC had also passed a vote of confidence on the Malam Mohammed Shitu- led National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

Dokpesi had last week held a parallel NEC meeting in Abuja, where Illo purportedly emerged as new national chairman of the party while Nwanyanwu emerged as the BoT chairman.

Malam Shitu, who read the communiqué after the NEC’s meeting, said the disciplinary committee was to be headed by Barrister Mohammed Sani Takori, a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Zamfara State.

He said  the NEC had also empowered the NWC to setup structures in states, LGAs and wards across the country; and that the party would also field a candidate for the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.
