Cristiano Ronaldo meets survivor of Beirut bombing attack

And the striker made one tragic young fan's day with a special meeting.

Three-year-old Haidar lost both his parents on November 12 when extremist group ISIL unleashed a double bombing attack on the Lebanese capital Beirut.

The toddler made a miraculous escape from the car thanks to being on his mother's lap, which shielded him from the blast.

Haidar was wearing a Real Madrid shirt at the time of the attack, and after learning of the tragedy the club quickly organised a visit so he could meet none other than the three-time Ballon d'Or winner, his favourite player.
