Comedian Julius Agwu and wife Ibiere celebrates their 6th wedding anniversary today May 31. They got married on May 31st 2008 and are blessed with two kids, a girl and a boy. Congrats to them.

U.S. Records First Case Of Ebola

The CDC just confirmed the first case of Ebola in the United States, according to Reuters. The patient was placed in "strict isolation" at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas earlier today. A patient in a Dallas hospital has been confirmed to have the Ebola virus, News 8 has learned. In a statement issued Tuesday night, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas said the patient was admitted based on symptoms and "recent travel history." The hospital, located at Greenville Avenue and Walnut Hill Lane in northeast Dallas, said it's complying with all recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and the Texas Department of Health to ensure the safety of other patients and medical staff. A press conference to discuss the case is scheduled for 5:30 pm. At least 3,091 people have died from Ebola since the West African outbreak was first identified in Guinea six months ago. What PDP delegates will do at today’s national convention

Nigeria’s major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is set to hold its non-elective convention at Eagles Square Abuja. One of the major items for approval by delegates from the nation’s 36 states and Abuja is the extension of the tenure of office of the National Caretaker Committee headed by former governor of Kaduna state, Ahmed Makarfi. The committee was put in place by the party’s national convention held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, in 2016. The committee was recently validated by the Supreme Court after former chairman, Ali Sheriff, had insisted and gotten the nod of the Court of Appeal to remain as chairman voiding the decision that brought Mr. Makarfi committee to office.
