NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS ON RESUMPTION FOR HARMATTAN SEMESTER OF 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION

Sequel to the information given to the Executive Committee of the Student Union, students are now free to be on campus as from Monday, June 30, 2014. Registration for courses will commence on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Using the daily data collected through GeoPoll’s Media Measurement Service, GeoPoll has analyzed the top TV stations in Nigeria for Q2, April 1st – June 30th. We examined both ratings* and share** for the top stations in Nigeria. The below chart shows the average ratings for the top 10 stations during the peak hours, from 19:00 to 21:30. As displayed in this chart, NTA had the highest ratings during Q2 in prime time. NTA maintained sustained high ratings during this time, while AIT experienced a smaller peak during its airing of the news at 20:00 and 20:30. Nigeria boasts numerous TV stations that are organized by state which results in the high rating for “other” stations in the above chart. NATIONWIDE IMPLEMENTATION OF CENTRAL BANK  OF NIGERIA'S CASHLESS POLICY

We write to inform you of the extension of Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) cashless policy to all States in Nigeria effective 1st July, 2014. The following modalities which are currently applicable in Lagos, Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Abia, Anambra, Kano, Ogun and Rivers State will also be effective nationwide: The cash-in-transit lodgment and cash evacuation services will no longer be available to customers or merchants. Mystery as 12-year-old boy walks home 15 hours after kidnap

Fun-loving, smart and playful, 12-year-old David Olupitan is a walking miracle. For the parents of the boy, Afolabi and Tonye, the events of Monday, April 20 and 21, 2015 could only have ended the way it did as a result of God’s intervention. Early morning on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, a broadcast was circulating on Twitter, calling for any information on the missing boy. “David Olupitan was abducted last night at his residence at Mile 2. Any information about him, please contact 0802****406,” the broadcast read.
