Today Is World Sickle Cell Day

Today 19th June is World Sickle Cell Day.
I have a good news for my Warrior Families. A news that gives hope and a sense to keep on fighting, striving and working hard to live our dreams.
I am a Warrior and fighting is my hobby.

PDP excludes Kashamu from special convention

The N ational leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has excluded Senator Buruji Kashamu from the non-elective special convention slated to hold in Abuja on Saturday. However, some of his loyalists were given different roles to play towards the success of the convention. The name of Kashamu was conspicuously not listed on the list of National Reconciliation Committee; National Disciplinary Committee; National Convention Planning Committee and National Convention Planning Committee. The decision to exclude the lawmaker representing Ogun East in the National Assembly might not be unconnected over his role during the crisis that rocked the party. Loyalists of former governor of the State, Chief Gbenga Daniel and former Speaker of the House of Representives, Hon Dimeji Bankole, were nominated into various committees. Give Life Ban to Dopers like Gatlin, says Coe IAAF President

Coe , the president of the International Association of Athletics Federations, blamed the World Anti-Doping Agency and legal systems worldwide for Gatlin being able to return to the sport after two doping violations. World Championships were still reeling on Sunday from Bolt’s shock defeat in his final individual race to pantomime villain Gatlin, with Coe admitting it was “not the perfect script” following the jeers which greeted Saturday’s result at the London Stadium.
