Today 19th June is World Sickle Cell Day.
I have a good news for my Warrior Families. A news that gives hope and a sense to keep on fighting, striving and working hard to live our dreams.
I am a Warrior and fighting is my hobby.

Ganduje appoints chief executives for 9 agencies

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has approved the appointment of chief executive officers of nine government agencies in the state. Notice of the approval is contained in a statement signed by his Director General, Media and Communication, Baba Halilu Dantiye, in Kano on Thursday. The statement quoted Dantiye as saying Alhaji Mustapha Buhari and Retired Group Capt. Muhammad Kura are the new Managing Directors of the state Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB) respectively. Alhaji Muhammad Adamu was appointed the Managing Director of Kano Urban Planning Development Authority (KANUPDA), while Alhaji Sani Gabasawa is the Managing Director, Youth Directorate for Economic Empowerment. He added that Alhaji Abdullahi Yanshana is appointed the Executive Chairman, Community Reorientation Committee (CRC), while Alhaji Nasiru Koki is the Executive Chairman, Pension Fund Trustees. FBN Merchant Bank signs MoU with Oxford Group on Nigeria report

In a bid to boost the Nigerian Sugar Industry, BUA Group has signed a pact with the Federal Government till 2023 and is committed to developing two sugar estates in Kwara and Kogi states as part of its contribution to strengthening the local sugar industry.  Already, BUA’s 300million dollars investment in its subsidiary, Lafiagi Sugar Company (LASUCO), is one of the largest private-led investments in that region of the country. When it becomes fully functional, BUA Group’s $300million investment in the 20, 000 hectares Lafiagi Sugar Estate which covers a sugar plantation, sugar mill, refinery and ethanol plant and is expected to produce about 1.5 million metric tonnes of raw sugar annually, 25million litres of ethanol, generate 35megawatts of electricity and create employment opportunities for over 15,000 people directly and indirectly.
