Buruji Kashamu, Ladi Adebutu’s War Deepens

Are you one of those thinking that the  lingering  war between Senator Buruji Kashamu and Ladi Adebutu, a member of the House of Representatives, is over, following the recent ruling of the  Supreme Court on the chairmanship position of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP?

If yes,  you may be utterly wrong. Spyglass gathered that since the apex court awarded full power of chairmanship of the party to Ahmed Markafi, the two political gladiators from Ogun State have  yet to sheath their swords  as they have reportedly  resorted to  name- calling,  which has further deepened the animosity between them.

It all started  last year. But it has now degenerated into the PDP chapter in Ogun State being factionalised.

The  Adebutu  faction is said to be more recognised by the party at the centre and more popular among  larger members of the PDP.

It is said that he is banking on his father,  Chief Kessington Adebutu’s wealth and influence  to defeat anybody within the party,  who wants to vie for the  governorship ticket.
