President Mohamadu Buhari Has Foolish Aides –Uche Jumbo

Actress, Uche Jombo Rodriguez, has hit hard on aides of President Mohamadu Buhari , saying they are the worst of aides anyone can have.

 The film maker was obviously reacting to a statement made by the personal assistant to the president on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, who said it was an insult for people to inquire of the Presidents health.

Saying he is a private citizen, and this has not gone well with Nigerians and Uche Jumbo is one of them and she decided to write on social media, “President Buhari has the worst Aides. I swear”. The screen diva seam pained and pity for the President for having the misfortune of having such incompetent aides. 

The minister of information, Lai Mohamed, and other aide’s in charge of communication have been under attacks from Nigerians for their comments on the President’s health, with most describing them as unguided and dishonest.

Jumbo is an award winning Nigerian actress, and producer who is known for movies like “Damage”, and “lies that men tell” .

Zenith Bank Records N75bn Profit, Declares N7.8bn Interim Dividend

Shareholders of Zenith Bank Plc have reasons to smile as the bank thursday announced an interim dividend of N7.8 billion for the half year ended June 30, 2017. The dividend, which translates to 25 kobo per share was declared following a profit after tax (PAT) of N75.317 billion reported for the period. The audited results of Zenith Bank made available by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), show that the bank recorded gross earnings of N380.4 billion, up by 77 per cent from N214.8 billion posted in the corresponding period of 2016.Net interest income stood at N138.962 billion, as against N127 billion in 2016. However, impairment charges increased by 196 per cent from N14.2 billion to N42 billion. But the bank got a boost from trading and other operating income. While trading income, realised foreign exchange, jumped from negative N864 million to positive N65.318 billion, other operating income similarly soared from N3.567 billion to N15.112 billion in 2017.
