Nigerians react angrily to #9bn wardrobe allowance for NASS

Nigerians have reacted angrily to reports that members of the National Assembly will receive a wardrobe allowance of N8.64bn Naira ($45m) over the course of the four-year term.

Many have taken to social media platform, Twitter to express their disappointment and disgust at the whooping sum of money allegedly earmarked for clothing by the Red and Green Chambers.

Some even questioned the ‘Change’ widely preached by President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, the All Progressives Congress. Here are some of the tweets making the round. #9bn.

Mystery as 12-year-old boy walks home 15 hours after kidnap

Fun-loving, smart and playful, 12-year-old David Olupitan is a walking miracle. For the parents of the boy, Afolabi and Tonye, the events of Monday, April 20 and 21, 2015 could only have ended the way it did as a result of God’s intervention.
