Sambo's Jnr Brother Dead In Ghastly Auto-accident Along Airport Rd. Abuja


Capt. Sambo (junior brother to Vice President Sambo) died less than 2 hrs ago in a ghastly car accident on Bill Clinton Drive.

His car collided with a tree and bust in flames.

It was obviously as a result of over speeding.

He was on his way to the airport to embark on a flight.

FG Bans VIP Escorts, Aides, Others From Airports

In a bid to ensure security, the Federal Government has introduced measures to forestall unnecessary loitering of unauthorised persons at all the nation’s international airports. The unauthorised persons, according to the government, include protocol officers, aides and escorts of dignitaries who are usually in the habit of following their principals to restricted parts of the airports. Also, the Federal Government has announced steps aimed at curtailing the gridlock at the international airports, saying the present situation has become a source of embarrassment to the nation. 11 Ex-Jonathan's Ministers May Join APC

There were strong indications yesterday that 11 former ministers during the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan may soon join the All Progressives Congress (APC). It was also learnt that there is pressure on ex-Governor Jolly Nyame, Senator Andy Uba and some Senators in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to shift base to the APC. An opposition governor is yet to make up his mind on whether to defect to the ruling party. The planned defection of the 11 ex-ministers is all part of the ongoing realignment of forces. Some of the former ministers are said to be looking for soft landing because of ongoing investigations by the anti-graft agencies.
