Buhari’s aide, Onochie, is a ‘runs girl’ working for the president – Reno Omokri

Former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has likened President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie to a “runs-girl” working for the president.

Omokri, a United States based Pastor made the mockery remark while sharing photographs of Onochie with the US President, Donald Trump’s spokeswoman.

The former Presidential aide noted that Onochie’s attack against his personality inspires him to expose Buhari’s hypocrisy.

In a series of tweets on his social media, Omokri wrote: “This Buhari admin spokespeople don’t understand my personality. The more you attack me, the more you inspire me to expose PMB’s hypocrisy!

“Even if you take a lizard to Aso Rock, it cant transform into a crocodile no matter how much it drinks!

“There’s a difference btw a girl who runs media for a President and a runs girl working for a President!”

Lagos Police, FERMA Task Force Men Clash

There was pandemonium on Wednesday as policemen attached to the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit and officials of the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme/ Federal Road Maintenance Agency Task Force clashed in the Toll Gate area of the state. Over 200 FERMA task force officials were arrested and clamped in three Black Marias brought by the police into the camp of the federal workers. PUNCH Metro, who witnessed the event as it unfolded, noted that at about 10.15am, the state task force, led by the Chairman of the state task force, Bayo Sulaiman, a Chief Superintendent of Police, stormed the FERMA task force camp. The policemen fired two tear gas canisters into the camp and followed them with gun shots. The action created confusion in the camp, making it easy for the policemen to arrest some workers constructing a fence in the camp as others took to their heels. FG spends N3.5m monthly to feed el-Zakzaky in detention –Lai Mohammed

The Federal Government claims it spends N3.5m monthly to feed the detained leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim el-Zakzaky. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, made the claim in a video that went viral on the internet on Thursday. If the claim is correct, the government may have spent over N120m to feed the Islamic cleric since he was arrested and detained in December 2015 after his followers were engaged in a bloody clash with the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, in Zaria, Kaduna State. Mohammed, who was apparently addressing reporters, was heard saying in the video that he was giving the journalists the information on an off-the-record basis to serve as a background to their reports.
