Nigeria’s Leading opposition party, PDP is set for it 75th National Convention in Abuja on Saturday.

This was made available to newsmen by its national Publicity secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye in a communique below.

Schedule of Activities for 2017 Gubernatorial Primary Election in Anambra State
The Gubernatorial Election Guidelines of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) provides that for the purpose of nominating the party’s Candidate for office of Governor of a State, each Ward chapter of the party shall elect (3) Ad-hoc ward delegates at a special congress for the nomination of the Governorship Candidate.

Follow due process in corruption fight, PDP tells Buhari

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has advised the Federal Government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to follow due process in the fight against corruption. The party made the call in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, on Tuesday in Abuja. It said that it was on the same page with the Federal Government in the fight against corruption but cautioned that due process must be followed. It said that the advice was necessary to ensure that the probe was not used as guise to victimise innocent citizens and curtail the freedom of Nigerians.
