Michy Batshuayi denies claims against Alvaro Morata

Michy Batshuayi has denied the claims charged toward him that he laughed at Alvaro Morata when the new signing missed a penalty in the Community Shield loss to Arsenal.

The Club record signing came in as a substitute in the 74th minute second half of the encounter but couldn’t help his team to hold the lead after Pedro was given a matching order by the referee for a foul on Mohamed Elneny.

A brilliant goal from Arsenal new signing Sead kolasinac in the 82nd minute of the game ensured the game ended 1:1 in the regulation time before the game went on penalties.

Batshuayi has taken to Twitter himself to refute the claims and put the record straight over the accusations made at him.

The Belgian got the nod to start the game at Wembley yesterday after an impressive pre-season out in the Far East with the Blues.

The former Real Madrid striker is still trying to find his feet and first goal for the club following his big-money move from Real Madrid, and Conte explained what more the Spaniard has to do.

"Morata needs to work but that is normal. He is with us for just one week and it's very important to find his condition and for him to understand our football.

"He needs a bit of time, but that's normal, it's the same for Rudiger and Bakayoko."

Chelsea will play Burnley in their Premier League opener at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
